Welcome to Summer Heat, a serialized romance publication written and managed by Brooke Straiton. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this publication via Substack.

By subscribing (free or paid), reading, commenting, or otherwise engaging with content on Summer Heat, you agree to these terms.

1. Content Ownership

All content, including but not limited to written chapters, bonus scenes, character confessionals, and original graphics, is the intellectual property of Brooke Straiton. You may not reproduce, distribute, or reuse any part of this publication without express written permission.

Sharing links = totally cool.
Copy/pasting entire chapters = not cool.
Stealing Beck = punishable by law and heartbreak.

2. Subscription Access

  • Free subscribers receive weekly chapter drops and selected public posts.

  • Paid subscribers receive early access, bonus scenes, behind-the-scenes content, and additional benefits as described.

  • Founding members may receive additional rewards including, but not limited to, print editions or acknowledgments.

Subscriptions are managed through Substack’s payment system. You may cancel anytime.

3. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are not guaranteed. However, if you experience billing issues, reach out and I’ll try to make things right: contact@brookestraiton.com.

4. Community Guidelines

Comments and replies should be respectful, inclusive, and on-topic. Harassment, hate speech, or spam will result in removal and possible blocking.

This is a fictional romance space—let’s keep the drama on the page, not in the comments.

5. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to subscribe to Summer Heat, as the content contains adult themes, language, and situations.

6. Modifications

These Terms may be updated occasionally. I’ll notify subscribers if major changes are made.

7. Platform Policies

This publication is hosted on Substack, and you are also subject to their Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Thanks for being here—and for keeping this community fun, fiery, and full of feelings.

xoxo,
Brooke
